概述 | This inventory report is a first step towards creating scenarios and roadmaps for a circular economy based on organic waste resources. |
摘要 | In 2017, SEI and the NGO Sanivation launched a project to explore the opportunities and benefits that a circular economy approach to sanitation and waste management could bring for Naivasha Sub-county in Kenya – one of the case study urban centres under the UrbanCircle project, along with Chía, Colombia, and Stockholm, Sweden. This report presents an inventory of organic waste resources, ongoing resource recovery initiatives, and stakeholders involved in sanitation, waste management and resource recovery in Naivasha. This is a first step towards creating scenarios and roadmaps for a circular economy based on organic waste resources in Naivasha. These in turn are intended to point the way for Kenya and for other cities in sub-Saharan Africa. |
