The evaluation team, comprising Caroline Moser and Fiona Clark, undertook the evaluation of the eleven different projects, as well as the overall Seedcorn fund in July 2001.

The eleven projects were chosen to reflect a diverse range of groups that include indigenous and afro-Colombian women, a female youth group, professional as well as grassroots women and a network of ex-combatant women among others.

The Report consists of four sections:

· Part one provides the main descriptive findings and content analysis;

· Part two presents the results of the participatory evaluation;

· Part three highlights some of the constraints and opportunities that the Asdi Seedcorn fund provides;

· Finally, part four concludes by identifying some challenges and recommendations for next stages.
