摘要	Youth and young adults with child welfare involvement face significant challenges in their transition to adulthood, challenges that increase their risk of becoming homeless. In 2013, the Children’s Bureau within the Administration for Children and Families developed a multi-phase grant initiative, referred to as Youth At-Risk of Homelessness (YARH), for planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive service models intended to prevent homelessness among youth and young adults with child welfare involvement. This issue brief discusses methods YARH grantees used to engage youth in the development of new comprehensive service models intended to reduce homelessness for youth in or formerly in foster care.
