摘要 | Key Findings:
This research brief describes the characteristics, well-being, and development of children and families at the beginning of the Head Start program year, using recent data from the Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (FACES 2014). The purpose of this brief is to provide a national portrait of the characteristics and well-being of children and families and children’s school readiness skills at the beginning of the Head Start program year. The brief recognizes that understanding the characteristics and needs of the changing population served by Head Start is key to delivering responsive, high quality program services and for setting goals for the program. |
