摘要 | Since 2006, Congress has authorized competitive regional partnership grants to address the needs of families to improve the well-being, permanency, and safety outcomes of children who were in, or at risk of, out-of-home placement as a result of a parent’s or caregiver’s methamphetamine or other substance use disorder. In September 2012 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded 17 new five-year grants and established ongoing program- and evaluation-related technical assistance provided through Mathematica and another federal contractor. It reviewed the evidence based of programs selected by the partnerships and approved Mathematica’s cross-site evaluation, consisting of studies of (1) the partnerships, (2) selection and implementation of evidence-based programs, (3) child and family outcomes, and (4) program impacts. |
